Zoo and Wildlife Solutions Ltd. is the trading name for Matt Hartley. Matt provides a unique consultancy combining technical veterinary and scientific expertise with managerial and policy skills to offer a diverse range of services in the zoological, conservation and wildlife health field.
Matt Hartley offers zoo management, conservation and research programme and project management, evidence based decision making and risk assessment, zoo and wildlife policy, training and development, wildlife heath surveillance and investigation, field research and conservation project management services working with both captive and wild animals worldwide .

Zoo and Wildlife Solutions has been working for a number of zoos over the last six months. Some of the projects completed include:
- Gaining a large park its approval under the BALAI Directive EC 92/65
- Successfully completing a BIAZA application for a large collection
- Completing the five year renewal of a CITES Article 60 license
- Securing a zoo's Category 1 and 2 Animal By-products Approval
- Facilitating a Collection Planning Workshop and producing a Collection Plan for a large Zoological Society
- Developing a Conservation and Research Strategy for a large Zoo
- A Veterinary Services Review for a zoo
- Pre-inspection audit of a collection in preparation for a Zoo Licensing Inspection
- Completion of research grant applications for zoo based projects
- Design specifications for a new childrens' Animal Collection
- Collection planning and sourcing of stock for a new collection
